How it works

Two weeks. Four steps. No surprises.

Most sites are live within 14 days of our first call. Here's exactly how that goes.

i.

The phone call

Twenty minutes. Tell me about your business, who comes in, what you wish your current site did. I'll send a quote that same day.

Day 1
ii.

The first draft

Within five days I send you a working site to click through. We refine the copy, swap photos, tweak colors — until it's right.

Days 2 – 7
iii.

The polish

Final menu items, hours, contact info. We hook up your domain, set up email forwarding, run it on real phones.

Days 8 – 12
iv.

You're live

Site goes up. You only pay the balance once you approve it. After that I stick around for ongoing edits and updates.

Why work with me

The same care you put into your kitchen.

Big web agencies treat restaurants like template work. Cheap site builders give you something that looks like everyone else's. Storefront Studio does the in-between — proper design, proper copy, proper attention — at a price that works for an independent business.

i.

Designed around your business, not a template

Every site is custom-built from scratch. A bakery shouldn't look like a sushi joint, and a food truck shouldn't look like a fine-dining bistro.

ii.

Loads fast on the phone in someone's car

That's where the search happens. If your site takes more than two seconds to load, you've already lost the table.

iii.

Built so you can update it yourself

Menu items change. Hours change. I'll set you up so basic edits take five minutes — or send them my way and I'll handle it.

iv.

One person, start to finish

You won't get handed off between a sales rep, a project manager, and an offshore developer. You talk to me. I build the site. Simple.

Common questions

The stuff everyone asks.

What if I don't like the first draft?

Then we keep working. The Full Site and Whole Thing packages include unlimited revisions during the build phase. You only pay the second invoice when the site is something you'd be proud to send to your mom.

Do I own the site when it's done?

Yes — fully. The code, the design, the domain, all of it. If you ever want to take it to another developer or move it elsewhere, I'll help you do that, no charge.

What if I already have a domain?

Even better. I'll connect the site to your existing domain at launch — typically takes about 15 minutes. If you don't have one yet, registration is included in every package.

Do you do photography?

Not personally, but I can recommend local food photographers, or work with photos you already have. Honest answer: phone photos taken in good window light usually look better than stock images.

Can you fix my existing site instead?

Sometimes — depends on what's there. If it's a rough Wix or Squarespace site, often it's faster (and cheaper for you) to start fresh. I'll tell you straight after looking at it.

What about hosting fees?

Hosting is included in the monthly maintenance plan ($80/mo). If you'd rather host it yourself, that's fine too — I'll set it up on your hosting provider at launch and hand over the keys.

Let's see what your site could look like.

Drop your details below and I'll get back to you within 24 hours. No pressure, no commitment, no payment until you love the design.
